What type of things are sold by street vendors in NYC? Besides the usual suspects ( jewelry, food, clothes..)?
Like… what’s sold on the streets of NYC? What’s profitable? What isn’t? I’ve only passed through, but I see millions of people selling things in the streets ( something you don’t really see much anywhere else.. ) .. I know jewelry, magazines, hot dogs, clothing, CDs/DVDs.. but, what else?
In August, when thunder storms are common, you will see thousands of street vendors jump out between buildings selling umbrellas when the first rain drops fall. Two minutes later the rain is gone and so are the vendors.
